Having just criticized the emo clothing scene in my previous post, I am going to attempt to reconcile myself with the emo community by tracking down some great deals for emo clothing.

The history of the word “emo” is a pretty interesting one and if you want to understand anything about the emo scene I suggest you listen up. It started as as a genre of music that originated from hardcore punk and pop punk in the late eighties and then mixed with other music genres later, namely indie in the nineties. Since about 2000 it has gradually become the meaning we give it today which isnt totally connected to music anymore, but is now a part of fashion and even a word to describe ‘emotional’ people who often wear dark clothing, tight t-shirts, have straight black hair and dark makeup.
