Well, for one thing there is only one reason parents could be wanting to by their baby designer clothes and that is to show off the way their baby looks to other people. It can’t possibly be because it makes the baby feel better because the baby has no concept that clothes with a little expensive label on are better than other clothes. It certainly can’t be because the baby has developed a personal taste that favors designer clothes. Perhaps another reason parents buy their baby designer clothes is to feel that they are taking good care of the baby, giving as much as they can for it. Perhaps they are compensating financially for something, or perhaps that’s just me making a wrong assumption. Maybe people some people have enough money that it feels like they are being cheap if they buy their baby anything but designer clothes.

I like to think that last one is the reason, but nevertheless, think about what you are doing to the child! It’s conditioning them to grow up to be a sucker that falls for false commercial values and for all those reasons I’m not finding you a deal. Sorry but you shall have to look elsewhere!

I believe I have succeeded, but it is a close call. In the end all depends on the postage, which, when you get down to such small amounts money is the thing that looms up and costs the same if not more than the actual clothes.

If you take a look at this customized search on eBay you will see there are lots and lots of items for just 99 cents. You could definitely find some socks a t-shirt and some shorts for 99 cents each, costing you a total of $2.97. However, on top of that there is the postage. With some items the postage is several dollars which would push your total up to the $10 we promised we mustn’t spend, but if you take some time looking through the eBay listings you will see some items have free postage and with others it is much cheaper. Your location makes a difference here too. So, as long as you are willing to find some items with cheap/free postage on eBay, you can definitely get a full set of OshKosh baby clothes for well under $10!

I often recommend sites like Amazon for buying clothes online but unfortunately they had very little to offer when it came to deals for this type of clothing. I took my search to eBay, where with this refined search I found a good selection of results. Right now there are over 40 items listed and as I’m sure you know that number can grow or fall as people make more auctions. There’s something for girls and boys there so I hope you can find what you are looking for.

The thing I love about baby clothes is that they are cheap, after all they don’t exactly need much material to cover up the entire baby.

Here on Amazon there is a full army bodysuit that lets your baby ’sleep n play’ while having all the usual requirements for baby clothes like snapping at the neck to make for easy changing. It can be bought in multiple sizes and it has a pair of socks with it. It is very affordable (or I wouldn’t be writing about it here) at $15.95 and I hope it just the thing you have been looking for.

At Bibzees baby bibs there are a few bibs left over from their summer sale from 2008. These bibs cost $10-12 (less than half price), which I happen to know is way below the cost of production. They also come complete with a bodysuit at no additional cost.

Their bibs have some rather amusing designs and are bound to bring in a few laughs. My personal favourite is the bib with Chinese characters on it that say “deep and profound” in Chinese, that baby will learn the meaning of irony at a very young age!

They believe clever clothes shouldn’t be discriminated by age and so what that means in practice is for baby clothes to have funny/ironic jokes about their babyhood and films, such as “may the formula be with you”. All I’ve got to say on the matter is, why not? They are funny and I’m sure will result in people paying the baby some attention.

On Amazon there are some very attractive OshKosh baby clothing deals. The prices are already cheap but seem to have been slahed even further to the point where a quite literally a few bucks will buy you an item of clothing! $10 and you could get a full outfit. Having your baby wearing eco-friendly clothes is surely a good way to start their life and going green is all the rage at the moment anyway not to mention they look great! On the bamboo baby clothing section on Amazon.com there is are plenty of different bamboo clothes on offer. They sell everything from bamboo hats to bamboo nursers and some of the items have wonderfully colorful designs. Below is a picture of a bamboo nurser and I must say I really like the pattern on it!
